FOR THIS PROJECT, WE WERE TASKED WITH SELECTING AN ART MOVEMENT AND DESIGNING A MUSEUM BROCHURE BASED ON THAT MOVEMENT USING A STRICT DUOTONE COLOUR SYSTEM. I CHOSE POP ART AND DEVELOPED THE CONCEPT OF “POP ART SUPERMART,” WHERE THE BROCHURE IS DESIGNED TO RESEMBLE A SUPERMARKET CATALOG. INSPIRED BY POP ART’S RELATIONSHIP WITH MASS PRODUCTION, ADVERTISING, AND EVERYDAY CONSUMER GOODS, THE BROCHURE PRESENTS ARTISTS AND THEIR WORKS AS DIFFERENT “AISLES” FOR DISCOVERY.
